小鸡炖蘑菇
这是另一道东北驰名的菜肴,只是现在鸡都是集中饲养,蘑菇也是养殖。味道越来越淡了,尤其近日辽宁禽流感盛行,估计没多少饭店有这道菜了。

大饼子是东北民间一道非常富有特色的主食,做法一般是将玉米面发好之后,拿出一块块大小适合的面团,放在铁锅的侧面(此时锅底在炖菜),利用锅的热量和炖菜的热气将大饼子弄熟。现在饭店的大饼子,基本都掺了豆粉,为的是更甜、更松软。

大碴子粥
就是玉米碴子粥,以前的碴子基本是压成两三瓣就拉倒,现在的碴子粥细多了,也更容易下咽。

豆包、年糕
用东北的黄米做成的,豆包中间夹有用红云米豆磨成的豆沙馅,年糕则内部无馅,表面缀有大枣、红豆。切开后(也可以用筷子夹)蘸着绵白糖吃,香糯粘牙。不过豆包和年糕吃多了都烧心,不能多吃。而且吃的时候最好加点咸菜。
